At first sight on the thumbnail, a huge black area with a tiny rusty brown strip. So ? This one has to be opened because it looks too simple, it sure has something more to it... And indeed when you get it full size it is great. The trees look like explosions, the forest like a dust-filled cloud. A war scene almost, and then no, it is a perfectly quiet morning, violently still. Heavy "sky" really deserves to take most of the space.

The text with that one makes a good combination : how these tiny things tell us a lot about time passing, seasons, that sometimes the green leaves fall, too. Visually, I like the half sunk effect, how water lies on top of the leaves and takes a shape with capillarity. When the laptop screen is at its darkest angle the reflection around the leaves reminds of the dark blue flame one gets when burning alcohol. Good choice of depth, the unfocused front and back makes you value the center zone and its details.

I like the water being totally without texture, uniformly gray( Except in the background where a light wind blows), it makes perspective disappear and flattens the foreground. The barrels seem to hang freely in a threedimensional space, if you take the emerged part and the reflection as one single object.
