Hi Richard. Once in a while a shoot pops out at me and grabs my interest; this is definetivly one of those shoots;) The exquisite detail you've captured in the sheed/boat is facinating, only toped by the exposure of the afore-mentioned. The backdrop really paints a great mood. It seems your wait was well worth it. The only remark is a slight halo on the top of the shed/boat. I'm not sure if this from your masking while editing or if it's natural. In a way it doesn't matter because this is a great shot, highly recomended and a clear candidate for shot of the month;) Regards Cato

Hi Andrew. A fantastic landscape, with a fantastic mood. I like the high contrast and grain in this image. The burnt out sky and closed shadows do suit this shot. Would have been great with something like a armchair in this shot just as a quirky thing:) It has a certain u2 joshua tree feel about it. Cheers Cato

Hi Chris. A very nice composition. You have got some great lines in this shot and the nice positioning of the boat really makes this shot dynamic. I would suggest fixing up the buildings so that their angles are strait and level. If the grain would allow it i would love to see those rings left from the oars stand out a little more. A nice shot. Hi Toni. I like this shot because of the fantastic lines here. The shadows are really spectacular on this walkway. The people give this image a great sense of scale. I made a little workshop where I tried to get a little more color and contrast out of the image. Cato

Hi Bruno, I think you've captured a very nice scene that only needs a person or another subject to take it to great heights. If you have the opportunity to take more shots here you should:) As for the pp it looks good, you've managed to convey a sombre mood, and that is the main thing that draws me to the image. The sepia toned and darkened look is really good for this image and it also looks like you've shrunk the levels in on both sides o give a smaller tonal range and that works really well. As a pure fidgety thing, I would like to see either the top of the tree cropped harder or not cropped at all and the bench on the right should be removed. Keep this technique going because it really has a good expression:) Regards Cato

Hi Don. A great scene and fantastic light. It's weird how you got that copper color that they have in the film metropolis:) I made a WS were i increased the contras to certain parts of the image. It makes the feel a little different (not a correction just a suggestion:) ). Regards Cato

HiIan A very nice shot. The long exposure did it's trick although you could have given it a second more so that it would really soften out. The colors are great and the lines in the rocks come out stunningly. I would suggest darkening the bright rock on the left as it does lead the eye away from the rest of this magnificent shot. Cato

Hi Gilad. A marvelous shot:) I'm a big fan of sunray shots and this one is really nice. A little bit of tweaking i see, but it gives the shot a nice feel. There's a little halo eminating frrom the sea to the sky and it would be nicer without it, but still a fantastic shot, with great colors. Cato

Hi Vincent. I really like the lines in this shot. They lead the viewer well into the shot and the clouds up-top give a nice balance. Although I am a fan of people in shots this unusual landscape shot does well without. The only drawback is that the ruins/castle/village in the back become a wee bit petite in this shot, but that might be more due to the fact that we have certain restrictions here on TE:) Cheers Cato
