Hello Michael Many compliments for this superb poster that shows exciting colors and contrasts enhanced by low sun on an unknowned planet! I use sometimes your technique of sky replacement; it's quite convenient for a more-pleasing overall look and I took the habit of using the "Clone" brush with the "Darken" option at 100% for ereasing those tiny white lines at junction of the two pictures. I use the smallest SOFT brush possible and clone away the white junction with the nearest material from the sky. It does miracles! Don't hesitate to email me if I didn't made myself clear enough. Hi Michael, Beautiful picture! The colours are truly amazing and the light is superb. The lake looks like satin and you got a wonderful reflection there. The framing is brilliant, with the trees at the front, at all that gave a really nice depth to the image. The sharpness is fantastic and one can see clearly the peaks of the mountains and the snow. Simply Beautiful, a view that takes my breath away! I have to go there too! :) Regards, Estela

Fantastic place. I was there in 2005 too. I think it's an impressive site and these clouds make it even more shocking. I think i never posted pics i took there, and i should do it soon :-) Bye Gianluca

Hello Michael, Your image is very well composed, it is correctly centred, with a wonderful sizing and extent of FG subject. The eye is drawn up to the top of the colourful ridge. This is a well seen and photographed subject, so well done. I have dreated a workshop of this image to bring out the colours of this great shot even further. Although it may not totally resemble the original landscape's natural colours, I think this helps to enforce your good work. I hope it is useful to you. Well done. Matt

Hello Michael, I like your photo. From my point of view the composition is ok, I tried to crop various ways. It is a matter of taste, and what you want to emphasize. By the way, by cuting out the bottom third of the picture really concentrates eyes to these awesome trees. TFS Regards, Andy Salay
