THeis route reminds me of my childhood. Riding horses on this trail. Then the not so memorable days in HMI when we had to go jogging in the morning. Good silhouette and shadows. Rajib

Looks fantastic. It looks to be a difficult peak to climb as it seems to be a avalanche prone face. Rajib

Nice photograph. Like the composition but you could have improved by placing the gompa a bit more to the right. It is a bit too centered. You should have cloned out the wall and flag on the bottom left corner. Rajib

Hi Paul, Excellent night photography. You got the North Star nicely in the frame. Can you please post the original unprocessed file in the workshop. I have never tried long exposure with my digital camera. I have been using film all this time. The noise level is very less on film. I will be taking long exposures during my forthcoming expedition so I just want to get an idea of the image quality on digital. If it is not too god then i will have to take my film body and lens just for night photography. Thanks Rajib

Hi Rahul, Welcome to TREK EARTH. A good first post. Shivling is one of my most photographed peak. I have shot it from numerous angles. I like the cloud formation around the peak. When did you go to Tapovan? Keep posting. Rajib

I do agree with GIL that there is a lot of noise and it is tightly cropped. A good effort on your part. Done a WS tor reduce the noise. Rajib
