Hi Rosemary, nice composition, with the eye drawn to the tree on the right. I love the skyscape - there's a sort of perspective effect with diagonals leading the eye into the distance. I've been thinking recently of investing in a set of Neutral Gradient filters, and I can't help wondering if they might help here to reduce the over-exposure in the brightest parts of the sky. Hi Andre! I had a holiday in the Canadian Rockies a couple of years ago. Though I never saw this particular view, it does bring back memories. You've captured some wonderful colours in this composition, enhanced by the cloud as you say. I'm curious about the exposure details though - 15s seems very long, even at f/18. Anyway, great shot. Hi Harriet! I love the light in this picture. Looking at it, I feel like I'm looking ahead, out of the darkness, into the light of Spring. I might have cropped the foreground a little, but I would leave the sky as it is. Beautiful!

Hi Ann! This reminds me of when I was working in Sri Lanka. They call them 'tree-wheelers' there, and this kind of sight is all too familiar! I really like the combination of colours you've captured here, and the two tuk-tuks and the bike are nicely positioned in front of their frames! TFS, Colin.

I really like this kind of photograph - the landscape and sunset with the reflection on the water would be a pretty picture on its own, but the machinery in the foreground brings it out of the ordinary and makes it more interesting. I wonder if, like me, you're thinking of investing in a set of neutral density gradient filters? They might help with the over-exposure in the top right corner.
