Beautiful work, technically sound and benefiting from the warm light and an appealing subject. Nice framing by the trees in the foreground. It resembles a painting and I could see it framed as a poster. It is the warmth that really makes it special. The good old 20D still delivers, doesn't it? It is my climbing camera these days.

I like it, the three main lines and the dark skies have a strong visual impact. The woman with the dog is a welcome addition to the landscape, even if her placement within the frame is not ideal. The skillful post-processing plays an important role in the appeal of this picture.

There are two main problems with this image. One is the fairly uninspiring subject matter, with little that the eye might want to investigate twice. The other is the harsh light that results in bleached colors and lack of depth. The oak is no doubt majestic, but on its own not sufficient to make this an appealing image. A picture taken here at 7 am, with a boat in the foreground, that might be a keeper. Both workshops are more interesting than the original. Whatever sharpening protocol you apply, it is not suitable for fine detail such as the foliage, which appears clearly over-sharpened.

Your image is way to small to be appreciated, Sudeep, check the maximum upload limits. I can tell you nevertheless that the date does not belong on any photograph with artistic aspirations.

Beautiful image, graphically very strong. The rippled water surface forms an outstanding background and the symmetry of the other elements, egret included, is very pleasant. It would probably look great in back and white as well. You need to write more comprehensive notes.

Sorry Lainee, this doesn't work because the sky and the snow are severely overexposed. In landscape photography you generally have to try exposing for the brighter parts of the image in order to avoid this. The composition is very nice indeed, but the colors are bleached by the unfavorable light.

Focusing on the boats in the foreground was a good way to deal with the haze in the air, which renders the mountains in the background unsuitable subjects. It's a clean image that would benefit from warmer light. Lake O'Hara is an amazing spot but it's not easy to take great photographs there.

Beautiful sunset light over the high peaks. The colors are indeed outstanding and the clouds above complement the landscape. Technically, the image is very noisy. Artistically, your foreground is rather featureless and so I would be tempted to remove most of it.

Glider... You definitely have an interesting subject here, but the tight composition is not overly appealing. I see you went for the maximum depth of field with f/18 and wonder, why: The result is a crystal clear and cluttered background featuring cars and parts of other gliders. Somewhat difficult light conditions here, with so much white, and the upper part of the cockpit is burnt out. Technically it is all right, but artistically it does not have much going for it.

I agree with you, it is a difficult location to take original images. As for the resulting image though, it is exceedingly cluttered: At f/11 everything is sharp, the intricate lamp posts as well as the busy background, and so neither stands out. Why would you not shoot at maximum aperture, if you wanted to show the lamp posts? My eye gets tired trying to focus on one subject in this image.

Iga, the date is a big no-no on any image with artistic aspirations. You have pretty serious exposure problems with the sky here, and the power lines are not an asset. Also, your subject does not stand out enough in front of the similarly textured background. Otherwise, welcome to TE, keep posting and do not get discouraged!
