    Hello Pavle,
It's an original photo without focal-points or any eye-catching details. But the large brown field in the warm light looks very good and it's nicely balanced by the grey sky and narrow slice of green grass in the distance. I like this.

    Hello Chris,
The boat is well placed in the photo, and those persons behind it must have felt themselves well placed in the fresh water on a hot day. I would have liked to join them, even though the turquoise tones of the water probably look the best from here.

    Hello Jorge,
This photo is very well composed. There is a nice balance and fine contrasts between the golden domes and the dark green trees. The heroic monuments are typical Soviet stereotypes, but the arrangements of flowers (artificial?) add nice colours.

    Hello Jean,
I really like this series of "same place, different seasons". I haven't gone skiing for many years, but looking at those persons in the lower picture, the clean snow and the blue sky, it looks very tempting. Both photos are very attractive, and the large boulders are magnificent.

    Hello Ian,
It's a very nice view of the probably ice cold water creating a number of tiny waterfalls on its way down the hillside. This could have been somewhere in northern Scandinavia and not really how I imagine Australia. The nearest kangaroo is probably far from here. Nice photos in the WS too, and they are all very sharp and well taken.

    Hello Luciano,
This is another beautiful composition from a hazy day. The autumn colours under the grey sky create an impression of a sepia photo. The reflections in the calm water are very attractive and of course the swan is the "cherry on the cake".

    Hello Rob,
It's nice to see you back, and once again you show us a main photo that is impossible to understand without the note and the additional photos. This is among the stranger installations I have seen, and I must say that it stretches the concept of art very far. It is bound to provoke a lot of persons. I wonder how it can be "owned" by a museum in USA when the visitors in Hamburg may possibly eat all of it. But it looks good as a carpet in the WS, and you were lucky to have another visitor with a sweet tooth who helped you compose the other WS.
    Best wishes,
    Gert

    Hello John,
The attractive building – mansion or castle – is discreetly placed in the background, almost hidden behind the screen of branches of the trees on both sides of the water. But it is perfectly reflected in the calm water, and this image is almost clearer than the "real" view. You managed a fascinating composition with a beautiful warm light in the right half and colder tones on the left side. You really have an impressive number of good photo opportunities within easy reach with your bicycle. Taking photos keeps you fit and healthy!

    Gert

    Hello Jean,
Both photos are very well taken and entertaining. You made good use of the opportunities offered by the smart installation. This made me have a look at the Eden Project's own site. It looks like a place anyone just would have to see if they're in that area. It would be great fun to spend a couple of hours enjoying the fascinating sculptures and installations in such nice surroundings.

    Hello Ike,
Today this came up among the random photos. It is a fantastic work of art. I wish I could have ideas like this coming to me... The photo is straightforward, which I think was the best solution to show us the artist's intentions and to create the best effect. You handled the tricky exposure very well.

    Hello Robert,
This makes me think of certain surrealist painters. The deep view with a strong diagonal accent along the arches and white columns, a lady in red and those well shaped clouds all create a rather mysterious atmosphere. Seeing Venice in the Nevada desert should be even more mysterious, but in Las Vegas of course anything could be expected. The good exposure, well handled contrasts and the clarity of colours are all due to your skill, and maybe the camera.
    Best regards,
    Gert

    Hello Pierre,
This looks like a charming corner of Venice, and the building is very attractive in spite of the faded paint. But I am surprised that you have chosen a photo with two disturbing heads in the foreground. Another photo from the same place, after the girls had left, would have been better. Or you should have cropped this to show us only the upper floors, which are the nicest anyway.

I have a photo very similar to this, just from a slightly different angle, but as you probably noted it never made it to TE. I enjoyed my visit to Butrint, but I wasn't too keen on my photos. But this is an interesting view with all these broken columns and the light is fine.

    Hello Bev,
It's a nice building but the note makes it more interesting after the first glance. I had never heard of this tradition of weavers having their looms on the top floor inside a row of small windows. Now that the looms are gone I can easily imagine how that floor can offer great possibilities, not just for a large bedroom but maybe a studio or a library, or whatever.
The light has a pleasant warm tone, but the shadows indicate that the day was short and the sun was already low, not long after it had risen.
    Kind regards,
    Gert

    Hello Malgo,
This is a very big city...
Since I don't know anything about São Paulo I have no idea if we see the centre of the city or if these are all suburbs. Both photos are well exposed and mainly sharp, but there is a blurred horizontal area, also seen in the WS (there is only one WS), which must have been caused by your window.

    Hello Denis,
The small chapel with traces of old paintings makes a fine foreground and the flowers on the wooden fence make the foreground even nicer. Far behind we see a nice village below the steep and dramatic looking mountain. It is a well composed photo and as always you saturated the colours well and were favoured with a fine light.

This photo makes me wonder if you had walked along the highway or if you had broken the law by stopping your car. ;-) It was another misty and cloudy day but the diagonal grey road and the grey sky match each other well, and the surrounding green areas provide some brightness.
