    Hello Luis,
The family living here have decorated the wall of their balcony very nicely with those colourful plates. The flowers accentuate the pleasant atmosphere. Without any intention they also improved your photo with the laundry left for drying. All over the photo there are plenty of other details that make it a pleasure to watch it closely.

    Hello Chris,
A fine combination of old and new. The modern city looks impressive in the distance and the ancient columns provide a very good foreground. You exposed it well in the bright light and the colours turned out nicely.

    Hello Ali,
I like that you cropped this photo quite heavily, leaving the sky outside. We can focus entirely on the beautiful nature and its colours. The large trees, individual or in groups, are very strong focal points and create fine contrasts to the brown or light green ground. The good light has created strong colours.

    Hello Silvio,
It's an interesting group of sculptures. They are quite naturalistic and judging from details of the architecture I imagine the figures are more or less the size of humans. The background is richly decorated and captured with good light.

    Hello Rob,
These three photos make me absolutely delighted. For the paintings as such, and of course for your kind references to my post recently (and thanks for your critique today). Lars was actually among the few who had agreed that "my painting" should be regarded as art.
Your main post seems to have a message of some kind. I am trying to "read" it, but can't get beyond two Û and an F. It's very elegantly designed and Klee would probably have been interested.
As for the two WS paintings they show perhaps even greater artistic talent. That yellow and orange area is one of the best non-figurative illegal wall paintings I have seen, and the landscape through a window is made with a very obvious talent. It's beautiful.
    Thanks for showing these photos.
    Best regards,
    Gert
PS I see art like this almost every day and recently started a collection, so I will probably post more such "or what".

    Hello Bev,
It's an interesting church and a very interesting note. As usual you balanced the composition well, with nice proportions between grey stones and green trees. The exposure is very good too on that grey day.
The church has some beautiful details but makes a slightly odd general impression on me. It's probably the hundreds of years of alterations and additions that to my mind have given it a bit strange proportions. The windows are beautiful but seem too large in relation to the wall. It also looks too wide in relation to the height. Having said that I would have been happy to have a church like this in my neighbourhood.
    Best regards,
    Gert

    Hello Ike,
What an amazing view! It is interesting as an aerial view as such, but it's mainly the patterns of diagonal details that make it quite special. The different colours of the water on each side of the narrow land are also very attractive. You balanced the composition well, roughly according to the rule of thirds.

    Hello Krzysztof,
It's a bit sad to see that the roof has collapsed and the door is broken. It must have been a beautiful building long ago, and it still makes for good photos. The colours of the roof and wall harmonize very nicely with the bushes and the field. It's a very colourful and nicely bright photo.

    Hello Pavle,

    Hello Malgo,
Before reading the note I was amazed how you could take such a sharp photo from an airplane. It is an amazing view taken on a day with a very good light, and some of the tallest buildings are quite beautiful, especially those with blue, green and yellow tones. It was worth waiting a long time to see this.

    Hej Lars,
    Gert

    Hello Paul,
Finally you have started showing some of the photos I have already seen (or very similar ones). This must be one of the most special towns in the world, so I can't understand why there aren't more photos from here on TE. Seeing the photos I get a slightly claustrophobic feeling, but I guess everything seems normal when actually walking these streets. These photos are all good and interesting but I agree with this one as main choice. There is a gentleman in red and a lady in red hair and we get a good look at the roof above the street. The photo has nice depth, the shape suits the view well and the buildings on both sides are nice frames.
    Best regards,
    Gert

    Hello Jean,
It would have been outrageous to dismantle these guns, and not just because they're part of the island's history. At least this one is a real beauty with its kind of chubby design, and I love the rusty and weather-bitten surface and the faded colours making it look like painted by an abstract artist. The WS are also very nice, especially the one overlooking the sea and with the long railing going down the slope. You had good light and managed attractive colours.

    Gert
