To Paul and Gert

To Paul and Gert, such well trained geese!

The fourth goose, is learning how to cross the road safely.

We had a jingle in the UK, for children and geese, to follow.

"Look right, look left,...

To ikeharel: Fields

Hi Ike, the fields contain quite different plants, I think that is what has confused you.
The first is wheat, whilst the w/s shows maize.

Thanks for your interest,
Bev :)

To PaulVDV: Terrain of Belgium

Ha! Ha! Paul, you are right, I know Belgium via John's photographs, though I have visited The Netherlands on several occasions.
There are hills in Norfolk, too; well they call them hills, to us,...

The Scooters

Hi Gert, I didn't realise that the scooters were hired, like bicycles that can be hired in most of our cities.
I just though they had been indiscriminately abandoned by their owners!

My warm...

To holmertz: The Girls

Thanks for your thoughtful critique, Gert.

Yes, I got the impression that the vicar might have been too affectionate and I think that was suggested in the research articles that I used.

Have a...

Fires

Oh, Jorge, that is so sad, especially when the world is at last becoming alert to the need to protect and plant trees!
I hope the people are safe.

There are some terrible wild fires in California...

Church in the woods.

Thank you, Paul.

I imagine that this church would have served the farms and the cottages and maybe some buildings that have long gone, when it was first built.
From lack of use, the trees would...

To mkamionka: The Dissolution!

Thank you for your interesting and kind critique, Mariusz.

I'm sure that in those days, the monarchs were more interested in their wealth than in the preservation of buildings for history!

Cat Themes

Thank you for your prompt reply Keith.
If, as you say, no cat photos are allowed, it seemed to me strange that there are several themes of cats and that these should be featured on the Home Page.

Cats

Hi,

Just a quick message to the Moderators.
Last week I posted a photograph of a cat pretending to be a bird in a bird bath and a w/s of a bird pretending to be a cat, hiding under the bushes.

To holmertz: Workshop

Hi Gert,

I have actually removed the first workshop and replaced it with one which I actually processed from the original raw photograph.

Hope you find this better!

Thank you, Gert, for your thoughtful critique.
You can see inside the kilns but the one nearest the sea is a little less safe.

That Beach Court Guest House is wonderful.
The rooms are good with...

To ikeharel: Dissolution!

Thank ou for your critique, Ike.

I thought you might be bored by the reason for the dissolution of the monasteries by Henry VIII, for it is often mentioned with regard to many English ruins!

Cattle mortuary

This looks awful, Jorge!
The farmer must have been heartbroken! I know that in the U.K. many farmers know their cows by name and would have been devastated.
Maybe it should be mandatory to have...

To holmertz: Role Reversal

Thank you, Gert.
I hope that the Moderators will understand that this is not just a photograph of a cat but one which shows animals playing different roles, for their own ends!

Have a good day,...

Priorities

Thank you, Keith.

I was wondering whether a co-ordinated protest by lots of TE members might have an effect but, reading your response, I think it would be worthless.

To kasianowak: Portrait!

It was certainly cheekier than me! :D

Thank you, Gert, for your critique and thoughtful comments.

I assure you, this is not a sewage place, it is a reservoir for collecting rainwater!
