I love the yellow rock on the left too, but because with a single image, this yellow rock took most of the space, so I chose to merge with 3 image to show the formation on the right.

I don't know how to explain IR light, but I guess the IR reflect differently on each surface. Unlike visible light, the IR will give different looks on different surface even they have the same...

this shot was edit with a regular shot and an IR shot. when combine the 2 with Color blend mode I got this effect. Let me write up an instruction and email it to you. IR is really fun.

hi David, I don't think Canon cameras are very sensitive to IR. the only filter I think might work with Canon is Cokin P007 IR. for this picture I used F/16 and 4 second during bright daylight. ...
