Many thanks for your comments. On the lens - 35mm 1.8G DX format lens. One of the cheapest Nikon's you can buy!! Very handy, light, sharp - but has a annoying amount of barrel distortion for a fixed lens - correctable in PP - but still annoying. My regards Colin
