i think pollution could be one of the factors contributing to the beauty of sunsets in the region. there has been, however, some "growth" of pro-environmental thinking forced by EU laws that started long before poland's acces to the european structures. namely the pollution there was statistically enormous 20-30 years ago. since then the production of toxic fumes should have dropped by a substantial number. it doesn't look like by continuously unchanged colors of the sunset skies...
