Great tyro 2014-12-09 4:21

Hello Alastair,

Yes, it's very difficult to shoot action pictures in such poor light but I think this is a smashing shot, full of movement, action and fun!

The two kiddies on their bikes have such a wonderful look of concentration on their faces and the swirling wheels of the bike in the foreground really contribute to that incredible feeling of movement as well as giving excellent depth to the image.

The autumn colours are glorious, your exposure is perfect and, O.K., it might not be quite as sharp as the purists would want, but I love it!

Brilliant!

Kind Regards,

John.

Thumbs up To tyro: Thanks John

Thanks yet again.

Hurrah for the rout of purists?

Took a few that day, but as I was lying amongst the leaves to get the viewpoint (ah the dedication) I found my camera was splattered with mud & took a wee bit of cleaning up. Luckily it was my od camera, which I take along when cycling & strangely there was nothing on the lens.

Cheers

Alastair
