Ciao Vincent,
Amazing capture. Your point of view and depth of field are perfection. When first I looked I thought it must be a picture from Utah, U.S.A. as I'm from there abouts but was suprised to see the splendor of Australia. Well done mate!

Default To GiovanniG: Could be Utah

Hi Giovanni,

At the time I thought the same thing, that some of the scenes in the Flinders Ranges could be mistaken for the western USA, with pine trees and colorful, jagged and rocky mountains. The pine trees are native Australians of the genus Callitris, and are a feature of the Flinders Ranges. Pines are pretty rare in most of Australia, with the exception of Tasmania and some dry inland areas like the Flinders Ranges.

Cheers,
Vince
