Thanks a lot isabib...just the kind of software I was looking for, and completely free to boot. It's amazing how helpful all of you have already been in my very short time as a member...thanks! btw, as I guess many of you are in other parts of the world, please don't equate my delays in replying to a lack of gratitude, but rather a large time gap between us. ;)

The one image per day limit also hopefully makes members think more about which images best fit the theme of TrekEarth before uploading.

Thank you for your reply. After listening to the reasoning behind it, I fully agree with the way things are. I hope to learn the "ins" and "outs" of resizing as well. Thanks again.

Hi Damon,

I sse you already got the idea of one photo per day on this site like this you will always have a task to upload 'that special one' othgerwise you will have to wait for 24 hours to upload another.
About resizing and if you want to make it in a more 'automatic way' and if you are using photoshop CS2 go to 'File' then 'Save for Web' and there you can define 800 x 600 as the automatic layout for your photos and 200 kb which is the maximum limit you are allowed to upload on TE but you will loose some information that your camera delivers, and IMO the way our co-member Bibiweb shown you is the best, waybe it will give you more work but it's the most suitable way to resize your photos.
Cheers and I hope you enjoy sharing your photos on this great site.
Paulo
