Be sure they know and follow this thread. Typical for some global operators is that you never 'hear' anything from them - other than in the process of selling their gears. In this case they 'lost face' - they should be big enough to say: SORRY!

This is really something so disgusting... Naturally, Fujimay not know anything about the situation unless you let them know...

Please do whatever is necessary... If you do not get a proper response from Fuji, you may begin a campain against them... And please bear in mind that I'll be the fist one right behind you to give my full support...

Do you any evidence to suggest that Fuji accepted the image in the knowledge that it had been stolen? Assuming Fuji take action once the theft has been brought to their attention I really don't understand why you would make a statement like this.
Competition entrants generally have to accept terms & conditions which state that the photograph must by their own work etc. The only person who has definitely acted illegally is the person who used the photo to enter the competition.

Your daughter's excellent photograph has always been one of my all-time favourites on this site and does not warrant this kind of horrendous abuse and negative publicity.

I hope Pamela gets the compensation she deserves and HE gets what's coming to him (right between the eyes, hopefully!).

Well, since I opened an account on the Fuji site yesterday in order to report a violation, I spend some time reading a thread in the forum that was discussing the issue of the stolen photo (Snowball). From what I understood, it's not the first time that some members of the Fuji site report that photos entered in the competition did not belong to the person submitting it, but those messages had always been ignored by Fuji until now. The difference this time is that the stolen photo was actually rewarded with the 2nd prize and several violations reports were submitting following Diana's message on TE, so this time Fuji did react...

But of course all of this has nothing to do with the quality of their products! ;o)

Hi Rafal, when I had a look at the Fuji site last evening, they had removed the Snowball photo and reattributed the 2nd and 3rd prizes to other photographers! ;o)
