Hey Mark, you've been busy here on TE. You might also consider TrekNature for shots like this one. This is also one of my favorites. Oddly, I'm colorblind and these don't stick out to me when I'm hiking along, so when I do discover them, then they stick out AFTER I've seen them. Weird, huh! The depth of field is well used here, and I like your centered composition, too. Let's go hiking together sometime!

Default To dsidwell: Thanks for your feedback!

Thank you very much for your feedback! I would never have guessed you were colorblind from your work. It is so beautiful!

I will start putting more on TrekNature as well. I was really surprised, but pleased, to discover it. Thank you as well for telling me about it.

I have been out of touch a little lately because on a recent hike I hurt my lower back. I have been spending quite a lot of time with therapists and doctors unfortunately, and less time out hiking.

I would love to go hiking with you sometime, after my back is better of course. I have recently created a website about hiking in Utah. I was getting quite a few questions about where I was hiking and such, so a friend of mine and I put it together. Take a look at it and let me know what you think. It is at I would love to get info about hikes in your part of the state.

Thanks again.
