Hi Sohrab, a very sad title and photograph too. The line of goats walking to their dead is something really touching.
Here, we can see the same scene but with the cows trapped in a truck. When I came across with the trucks (usually in the inner routes of the country), I always looked at the cattle faces and seemed to be sad and scared..
And in your shot, the man in the left seems to be pushing the goat so to make it walk.
I like the crop you chose, but one thing that is a bit distracting for my eye is that man in between the ones that are carrying the goats, looking at you.
The "falling" buildings in the background add to the sad and depress feeling, IMO.
