Hello Ned,
This is a very interesting photograph. It is not highly stylized or artistic. You didn't intend it to be. This is a good newspaper style documentary photo. Your masterful pow wow photo of the young boy probably would not be a good candidate for a social commentary unless it was about the boy himself, but it would look fabulous in an art gallery. Every photograph that we take has a specific purpose. Your narrative looks like it was written by an historian. Are you planning on publishing a book?

To scobert: A book?
I have toyed with the idea of a book, but not sure I have enough content on any one subject. I do enjoy history and have been an avid reader of National Geographic which has allways been and inspiration of sorts for me.
