Awesome shot Ned!
Amazing detail and clarity- how do you get the shots soooo sharp? (hope you don't say Nikon vs. Canon ;-P)
Excellent tonal levels with just the right amount of exposure to ensure pure white clouds etc. Having the river slightly off centre makes for a cood compo.
Awesome stuff Ned!

What can I say.. heheheh... but we all know that you can get outstanding results, even from some real el cheapo cameras.
I will say that I think using CS2/3 has made a remarkable difference in the results I can produce. Formerly I used PSP, which did ok, but I think the adobe product gives one much more control over all aspects of processing, particulary with respect to latitude and sharpness. |

I currently use Photoshop CS2 (awaiting my upgraqde to CS3), and I use smart sharpen with setting of 175 and 0.2-0.3. I'm just really blown away with your results above.

I haven't used smart sharpen a lot... I'm still using mostly USM at about .5 pix and usually just under 100%
