Hey, Ned,
great catch under the conditions. Like you say, either one would make it tougher - long lens OR moving boat, but you did a fine job of it. Well composed with the eagle in a great spot and I love the contrast against the darker background and I like whatever that foliage is beneath him.Really nice shot! Kindest regards,

To AROBN54: That foliage
That is a spruce tree that the eagle is sitting in. I don't know what it was looking at, but it was on the verge of taking flight, so I think it's posture appears a bit unuasual. It took flight shortly after I took this shot.
