Default Cooliris integration with TrekEarth

Hello fellow TrekEarthers,

I would like to recommend TrekEarth to integrate its website with the popular web-based picture viewer Cooliris. It has a very neat three-dimensional viewing experience already in use with flickr.com and facebook.com. This could improve our interaction with the site as members, and bring others potentially interested into membership.

Try it out, and let me know what you think. If we can gather sufficient support for this, we might have a better way to explore the world through photographs...

Please try it out - it's not some virus.

Hi Biswaroop,

I have been using cooliris/piclens now for a long time . . . and I agree . . . it would be great to explore TE like this . . . it would be much faster.
There was the possibility to suggest websites to them (but the link seems to be gone now . .. all I can find is [email protected] ). . . and I did suggest TE . . . that must have been a year ago or something . . . if more people would join . . .

David

Hello David,

Yes, it would be a lot better. I also contacted cooliris (through their [email protected]). I got the following reply:

"Hi Biswaroop,

First, thanks so much for your use of Cooliris. As a growing company, we really value feedback from our users! I sincerely apologize for the delay in replying!

Thanks for your site recommendation to enable TrekEarth. We will definitely look into it, but the trick is to convince them that it is in their users' best interest to integrate Cooliris support on their site. You could help us out in a big way in this initiative by spreading the word about us to your friends that visit this site, or if possible even contact the site and let them know you would be interested in using Cooliris. The more users who are already asking for Cooliris capability, the easier it is for us to convince sites to let us add in Cooliris.

Thanks again for contacting us!

Kindest Regards,
Jenny & The Cooliris Team"

I also emailed [email protected], but have not received any reply.

Do you know of any method of contacting these TE administrators/moderators? If one of them is reading this, please consider my suggestion and contact cooliris. There seems to be sufficient interest in this.

Thanks for replying,
Biswaroop

Kevin Hayes is a project manager here. You could try contacting him. Also e-mailing [email protected]kearth.com might bring a response as Adam is still involved in the running of the site.

Awesome? Great job? Are you high, or something?
What are your standards concerning awesome and a great job?
Have you any idea AT ALL of what awesome and a great job mean?
I don't know about you, you seem to think different, but I need this kind of "awesome great jobs" like an extra hole in the head! Good Lord...

Fulvio.
