Hello Pavle,
This photograph makes me think of the past.
My parents, and aunties, used to bring souvenirs from places that they had visited and, like here, had special cabinets in which to display them. They became talking points, things to bring back memories or things to convince others that some place was worth a visit!
These mementoes could have just the same the effect! They are well presented and the conversation might be ... "Do you remember where we bought that musical instrument?' 'When did he win the cup? What a night!'

Thank you Bev,
I noted in my diary how the temple was approached along a narrow alley "packed with beggars and all kinds of salesmen". The alley went right up to the staircase seen in the WS. Fortunately the hawkers and beggars seem to have been banned from the temple area. Kind regards, Gert
