To Waylim: some more explanation

The way I work, I usually just take pictures and for the ones I like I come up with an explanation afterwards.

I chose this composition to really focus on the pyramid itself, making it like an arrow, a triangle pointed upwards, hence that big emptiness above.

In PP I whitened out the sky to get rid of the few bits of cloud/sky.

It wasn't that dark, but the sky was all clouded and dull. The high ISO is because I jammed down the exposure to 1/4000, and the ISO was stepped up automatically.

In PP I added contrast to wash out the sky, then slightly decreased the brightness to make the pyramid itself just a touch darker. I really wanted this black (pyramid) vs. white (sky) effect.
