Hello David,
The diagonal brook adds dynamism and the rail and path at right provide good linear perspective guiding the eye towards the impressive iron bridge. Good sharpness too. Tfs!

Hi Chris,
The brook is the river Severn and the photo was taken in summer when the water level was low.Every year several people drown swimming despite many warning signs.A storm in the Welsh mountains up river can send a huge torrent of water rushing down in just a few moments and catches people out.This why the the bridge was built high up to avoid the water overwhelming it. Other tributaries join up with the Severn until it becomes large enough for ocean going ships.Where it discharges into the Atlantic it is about 3 miles wide. Best regards David.
