Hi Paul
A lot of people over 45 move from Melbourne, a fast paced energetic city of 5 million, to rural Tasmania with a slower pace and more relaxing scenery. But people under 25 find Tasmania boring and move to Melbourne and Sydney. |

Hi Chris,
I don't know if this is correct but in Belgium many people think that Australia is mostly very warm and sunny. Tasmania would then be wetter and colder in our opinion. Maybe this isn't the case. Then it would be a bit strange that people would move from Melbourne to Tasmania. Thanks for your reply. Kind regards, Paul |

Hallo Paul
Here's a map showing the various climates in Australia. Most people live in the blue temperate zone. For sure the central deserts and grasslands are hot, but it can snow in elevated areas or in the far south. https://www.researchgate.net/profile...ntioned-in.jpg |
