Magnificent architecture. Thanks for the link to an earlier shot, it's interesting to see the tower from different sides.
The street life around the gopalam is equally important in the image, especially the man and his merchandise in the foreground. His presence links the photo to that in WS - a seller of an eclectic mixture of flowers and fruit (are those round hairy things coconuts?).

my friend Cris was in a party, some friends offered their car to take her home and during the middle of the journey the driver decided to do a competition with another guy and the car went out and hit a mango tree and got fire, but other people got put the passengers out, but she was dead.. take care jorge
