Hello Michael, excellent point of view; when I see shots like this, I do wonder whether the photographer has laid down on the ground, did you?
The b/w presentation helps us to concentrate on the buildings and their shapes, and the way that they look as if they might almost touch.
The cloudy sky completes the scene with its' contrasting texture.
Regards Jean.

Hi John
With your clinical precision and memory for detail I'll take your word for it. Ironically, this lady was partly responsible for a stand collecting money for Alzheimer's charities. I do wonder these days, if I have it's earliest symptoms! I do have a shot of her smiling and she was tremendous fun at the time, though this image had more impact than the other faces she pulled! Cheers Mike |

Hi Mike,
On the subject of memory, one of my friends with whom I go walking every week seems to be really worried that he might be losing his memory - though to me he appears to have no problems at all in that regard. However, when the local NHS memory clinic recently decided to run a van around the local communities, he took the opportunity to 'phone and book an appointment for a memory test on the day the van was going to be nearest to him. Unfortunately, the van didn't turn up as the staff had forgotten. ![]() Cheers, John. |
