Hahaha, you gave yourself away here with the name of the ship... You flipped this one! Why?! I loaded your shot in photoshop and flipping it back to the right makes it a nice picture as well.
Ahhh... You probably flipped the slide when scanning. I now see it's scanned from slide, but if you flip the shot you'll see that the actual name of the boat is 'IPAPADIL'.
I like it, but it's a bit soft. I have the same issue with scanning slides. I now got a Minolta scanner that focusses on the slide, which makes the sharper. Slides can shape a bit differently, and that makes a big difference when scanning. If your scanner has the option to focus on the slide, I'd use it despite the fact that scanning will take a bit longer!
So yes, an interesting shot, but some post processing (flip, smart sharpen and contrast mainly) would have made it better!
