It is refreshing to look at these modern frescoes. I wonder how well they will be preserved for hundreds of years.

my church is modernist and was created in the 1970's and it was restored few days ago, most of the original details were lost, including the stained glasses, ceiling, the original pavement and even the modern statue of jesus was removed to another corner because the opinion of the new priest. I was able to see this in my life, I presume not protected art will be destroyed in any place. it is ever easier and cheaper to rebuild than to restore. take care jorge
