Hello Malgo,
Seeing the thumbnail I first thought this was a reflection with a selfie! How could you do that? ;-) But it turned out a nice and original photo, although the strange location is explained only in the WS. Your friend is a very attractive woman, and it struck me when reading the note that you had a great advantage being a woman travelling alone in a country like that. You can meet women - and men, but I would never meet the women. I was invited to several homes in Afghanistan but I never met the wives or mothers!

Hi Gert,
Thanks for your nice words. Yes, I agree, being a woman and especially an OLD one is a great advantage. In Arabic countries, they have big respect for old women - mothers and grandmothers. They are very kind and helpful. When I think about the contacts with local people, they were mainly with women. Best regrads MAlgo
