Hi Rajeev,
This is a really funny shot! may be the category could have been "humorous". Like the way you've captured this.
Thanks for sharing,

Default To Davids: De Hoop Scan

Good day David.

I gave the slides to my local photoprocessing lab. They have a canon drum?? scanner for slides. They gave it to me in TIFF format (20MB+). I use Photoshop CS2 and worked on the levels, add a unsharpen filter and saved in JPEG.

I will ask Andrew at the photolab to give me more details on their scanner and give you the details.

that explains :) I have a Minolta Dimage II scanner and a good Cannon (normal) scanner. They have mixed results, especially with the slides. I'm afraid I will also have to bring them to a professional shop, but I'm somewhat afraid for the amount and what it'll cost. On top of that, I did it once before, and guess what; two of my best slides were missing and ended up being put up for sale later on . . .

Don't make to much trouble out of it, but if you happen to see him, I'd be gratefull to have some information. There is a topic in the forum, but there are no usable suggestions so far.

have a nice day,
