Great emka 2020-07-28 0:02

Hello Claude, Was this walking on the Santiago route? What a pleasure to awake and to see such a glorious view, somewhere in nature, away from the crowds. On the other hand, I am too old for the tent. beautiful mountain tops illuminated by the morning sun. How many kilometres a day you walked?

Best regards MAlgo

Default To Royaldevon: About the trip

Thank you Beverley,

When I saw the video afterwards, I was surprised that the wind was so clearly audible. I honestly don't remember the wind.

It wasn't really cold. But the paragliding was planned quite early in the morning and I had taken my precautions to get warmly dressed.
I prefer not to suffer cold. But there were also many younger paragliders with relatively little clothing ...

It wasn't difficult to take pictures. I was sitting quite comfortable and there was also little risk of dropping my camera.
Possibly at times I may have had to wait a few moments to take photos ...

In this video we indeed glided over the lake for a long time. The best part for me was immediately after the start when I still saw the snowy peaks. I remember I hoped we would not land in the water However, from high in the sky the pilot showed me a circle drawn on the shore of the lake. In that circle we would land in the middle and effectively, it was like that. Masterfully how the pilot could control the sails.

Best regards,
Paul
