Nice capture, Jean! Good composition and color.

We were thinking of heading to Banff/Jasper area next year. Our concern is that it is too "touristy." Did you find that to be so?

Regards, Lisa

Default To Lisas_world: Touristy

Hi Lisa,

The Canadian Rockies are worth a visit even in the summer months, touristy or not! There are many spots that are not as touristy as well. When you make your way out to the real touristy spots such as Lake Louise, Moraine Lake, Peyto Lake, Banff town and area make sure you visit before 10.00am or after 4.00pm...this way you will avoid the big crowds! Yoho National Park, Kootenay National Park and Jasper National Park are a little less crowded than Banff National Park.

If you need any info, feel free to contact me! :)
Take care,

Thanks for the info, Ann. I'm sure there will be more questions as it gets closer to vacation time again :)
