Hello Kath
A strong composition with the curve of the beach and the three layers - dry sand, wet sand, sea. The family is also well placed. Sharpness is excellent and light management is too. Did you use an ND Grad?

I wish I could remember if I used the grad or not. I suspect not, as this was a grab shot when I saw the family coming towards me. I'd just lost the grad holder the day before :( so was holding the filter. It was in and out of my camera bag all day. You can see where the sun was from the shadows so more than likely I had the lens hood on for flare and you can't have both without catching reflections on the lens. No wonder I lost the holder as I was swapping about all the time. I thought you might have had a laugh at the WS. ;D
