Hello Loong,
When I travelled to China I read about the Tiger Leaping Gorge but I was never in Yunnan. So I didn't go there.
I remember I read that there was a very beautiful hike but it was also a dangerous one. Depending on whether it had rained, I seem to remember.
I hope that the couple here does not lean too much against the closure.
Hopefully the platform we see in the WS is built strong enough.
The turbulent water must have made an incredible noise.
Extraordinarily impressive photos.
A funny sight with the men waiting for customers.
BTW, did you see a tiger? :)
Best regards, Paul

Thank you , Paul.
I should think so ...the platform is strong enough. Otherwise, I wouldn't be here , typing :-) It was raining very hard the last night in Lijiang. Yeah, the tiger is just at the end of the platform ( right ). But I don't think so he is leaping because the big stone in the middle of river is cover with water. Hv a nice weekend. Loong |

Hi Malgo and Loong,
Also in that picture the river looks wild and exciting! I always wondered why the name was Tiger Leaping Gorge ... Best regards, Paul |
