Hi Dara
Possibly my welcome to TE is a bit late but I really mean it. Your picture of cyclo driver attracted me. It's a nice daily life shot. Well done. The sharpness and color hues is fine. What is missing in your shot is the cycle behind the passenger cabin. For viewers not used to Asia and rickshaws they will not understand your title because they cannot see where the guy would sit to drive the cyclo. The picture must speak for itself, that is one of the cardinal rules in photography. Otherwise your picture is fine, well done.
Your gallery has a number of very interesting shots, you can do it, I'm sure
Best regards
Urs

Hi Jean Yves,
Thank you so much for your critique. I really appreciate it and I have followed your suggestion. I guess I can put it up as a repost. I knew when I took the photo that the composition wasn't the best but the egret wouldn't wait for me to get it right. I didn't think of radical cropping. I now wish I had used the zoom to make the crop in the initial shot. So I've learned from you in two ways! Best wishes, Mary |
