Hi Mike,
The upturned boat and coiled ropes are fantastically strong f/g images and set the scene for the sea-facing castle, high on the hill.
I love how the clouds create the effect that they are emanating from the castle, like smoke out of an old, Lancashire mill chimney!

Lindisfarne was on TV, yesterday. It gave a good description of the castle and its history.
Did you visit the walled garden at the rear?
