Sorry you're having problems loading. However, there are over 50,000 members and 600,000 images stored. Even if only half posted one image every other day, it would be impossible for anyone to keep up with the volume.

This is a site dedicated to learning about the world and improving photography. It isn't a repository for photographers to download en-masse. It's for your best shots not a store for all of them.

No-one is able to load up more than one shot per day and, to be honest, most of us struggle to do that and retain any level of quality or diversity.

Hope to see your stuff soon.

Regards,

Paul.

Chances are; with all your moaning and complaining about only being able to post one photo a day, you probably neglected to read the TrekEarth Terms of Service about what is acceptable on this site.
Your photo was probably removed as it didn't fit the guidelines.

You are a member of this site since February 20 this year. That means that if you posted "only" 1 photo per day you would have had somrthing like 260 photos by now. Problem is I see ZERO photos in your account. So why 1 per day is not enough for you?

(don't take my response too seriously. I'm just joking on your expense)

Tim,

I totally agree with you.

You don't get it. At all. TE is not another online photo storage service...

But, take the time to understand how it works and I will be glad to coment your daily photo!

Cheers,

Loïc

I think the limit should be extended to 1 every 48 hours or even more.

I don't think so, Brendan. To me, Hervé (Maltese) had THE IDEA: you should have to post at least 5 or 10 critiques before you can upload another photo... (but we should keep the daily limitation)

I don't spend too much time on these forums (rather be out trying to learn photography) but I'm not sure I understand the sanctimony about TE TOS expressed by Dan. A recent image that Dan commented on quite favorably (as did I) seems to me to be quite in violation of the TE TOS:

Here

"...Images may not be digitally manipulated in an image editing program ie, Photoshop except for the following reasons:

1. Copyright notices and (straight-edged, plain) frames
2. Cropping, resizing and sharpening
3. Touching up (dust, slight imperfections)
4. Levels, Curves, Color adjustment, Hue, Saturation etc. for minor image enhancements.
5. Multiple exposures to get proper exposure values
6. Stitching for panoramic photos
7. Color conversion to Black and White, Sepia, Duotone etc.
8. Perspective correction for parallax or lens distortion."

It is a great photo that some might assert is better suited to TrekLens (per the TE TOS) but Dan didn't jump on Yffic over this. Just seems a bit hypocritical but I may be way off the mark - wouldn't be the first time.

No offense meant to anyone.

Wishing you great light.

Cheers!

Bob G.
