Needs Improvement danyy 2005-06-10 10:25

Image spectaculaire, mais je ne suis pas pour la cruauté envers les animaux. J'espère ne voir jamais des images de massacres de bébés phoques, aussi belles soient les images.
Bien à toi.
Daniel.

Default To danyy: Bullfights

Sorry this isn't in French.

These days I literally won't kill a black widow spider [I'll move it and its egg case to some less "dangerous" spot]. Still, at one time, thanks mostly to Hemingway, the "sport" of bullfighting was scene more as an art. In the 40s and 50s maybe it was something more in the spirit of the times, but much has changed. The bull doesn't stand a chance. They weaken its shoulder muscles with those "spears". Anyway, I would say bullfighting's days are numbered and I suppose some bullfighters do get killed but usually it's a one-sided affair. Still, what happens to cows headed for McDonalds isn't much better. Still, it takes balls to be a bull fighter and some are quite graceful with the cape.
