I like the geometry of your composition with horisontal bands of sea, sand and so on. You got a Moiré effect (the curving pattern) in the tin roof but I guess that is only on the low resolution version, it is an interaction of the stripes in the roof and the pixel pattern.

You are right Ebbe. I went straight to my original and looked and saw that it has very narrow vertical corrugated stripes on that roof. I hadn't noticed the moiré effect. No doubt in the compression it was distorted. Thanks for your comments. I wonder if there was any way I could have remedied it before posting?

I have had similar effects but much stronger when a sign made of a mesh of light bulbs was involved in one of my Eiffel tower pictures. Then I just made anoteher crop so the sign was bigger and it went better. But I can´t think of a simple way to get rid of the problem. Maybe if you can distort the picture so the roof and the pixels align but that might be akward for the rest of it.
