Great Floydian 2007-06-14 13:14

Hi Jose,
I am impressed by the quality you get from that 18-55m/m kitlens. Most of the times i see soft and dull images with that cheap thing, but what you show us here is a total different view. Absolute stunning colours and detail. You know not only how to handle a camera, but also your pp work is good...appaluse..!!!
Regards, Henk

Thank you, my friend Henk! But with the quality of lights I had on this colorful house, it was impossible to fail... even with this kitlens. I set the camera for 75% of sharpness, contrast, saturation and color tone since I bought it. So, in this rare picture, the original is very very close to this presentation. But you are totaly right about the washed colours that are commom to the kitlens... so, I am still dreaming about a better one...
Regards,
Zeca

When you could buy the 17-40m/m and start shooting in RAW your final output will surely improve a lot.

Henk

Did you say the Canon Zoom Super Wide Angle EF 17-40mm f/4L USM Autofocus Lens?
Thanks,
Zeca

Yes i mean the Canon 17-40m/m, that one comes close to your 18-55 kitlens and is really a lot better than what you have now. The Canon 10-22m/m is more an extreme wide-angle for your 400D.

Henk
