Hello Nichola,
The weather has certainly been horrible this last week for beachgoers, happening at the very worst possible time of year. I am going to Maroochydore all of next week, but I doubt it will be worth my while. Our annual holiday has been grey, windy and not wet enough to be substantially improving to our catchments. I like this view however, and the lifesavers look prominent in their familiar colours. I took my previous photo on the beach about in the middle of the frame, in the distance, looking back to where you are standing. Good luck with the New Year.

To Matthew-Watt: lifesavers
Yeh, they're predicting more bad weather.
I wanted to get a good photo of the lifesavers this year but didn't get to the beach enough...more fool me! I only just snuck this one in. The light's a bit dull but at least something is happening. Often when I go I don't see them as it's too early or late.
