Is there an intention to make it look like an old photography? There is something wrong with contast as the only thing that do not appear as flat is the pavement.

To Sonny_boy: Arc de Triomphe
The grain and lack of contrast were due to the exposure of around 20 seconds at f/32.
Besides, it was taken mid-day with heavy traffic, hence the colours and the blurring in front of the Arc. regards :) J&J
