Hello Kath,
Both version are wonderful in colour and contrast, but most of all in the setting how you made them. Colours are rich with contrast and saturation, dark and moody, but that works very good here. The dark sky enhance that feeling even more. I wonder how much pp you did here, but whatever you did or didn't, the result looks great.
A stunning shot from a stunning location....great piece of work.
Take care,
Henk

Thanks Henk
The original was quite dark so I had to push the curve a lot, and in actual fact the original sky was even darker than this, probably because it was slightly under-exposed. The WB also needed warming up at it was only at 5000 and looked cold. However I spent a lot of time on it as there was a yellow colour cast, (probably from pushing the WB too high). It was difficult to remove without it looking cold again, and at one time I started again from scratch. So to answer you question it was difficult to get right, (for me anyway; you would have done it in 5 minutes) but in actual fact not too many changes were made. I'll reply to your mail later. ;D Kath |

Many roads lead to Rome, no matter which one you take ;-)
You did well here, the final TE size looks pretty good and doesn't show anything were you pushed things to far. Regards, H |
