Great kiks 2010-10-16 12:30

Intersting rock formation. Something that i know from tropical countrys and would not exect to see at Alaska!
Lovely contrast with the snwy mountains

We're on the Pacific "Rim of Fire." so lots of volcanos are here in Alaska. This rock formation is an ancient one, and one which rises from the center of an extinct volcano, so it looks quite unique. That's what's going on with this one. I'm glad you stopped to comment. Judy
