Francesco, thanks for your critiques. That stall is placed in the street, the cars are passing very close to it. Second hand shoes are sold here, all seem to have already been used. A customer is checking a pair closer. Powerful light.

Bien cadrée cette scène de rue, bonne lumière, la présentation des chaussures est on ne peut plus simple, pas de décoration ou de support pour la présentation. Bon effet de profondeur d'image avec la perspective de la rue.

I think your memory of this market is quite correct. I wonder if it is always possible to find complete pairs. It is an amusing photo but also interesting and informative about life in this part of the world. I spent three enjoyable weeks in Ouagadogou in 1982. It was a very pleasant city, not beautiful to watch but people were very nice.

Very unusual to see pictures from Burkina-Faso, Francesco, and the scene itself is exceptional.
Good choice of perspective that include some of the street scenery and action.
