Photographer's Note

I wanted to end (until I (re)start it again) this short series of photos on Ivory Coast on a more joyful note than the previous posts.
This photo was taken in 2000 in the same village (as previous posts): Digba (15 km from Daloa city). Ok, nothing extraordinary about the shot. It was just to remember the team I used to play football with everyday…
Actually what I like is that I can spend hours looking at each of them and their hilarious attitudes, getting charged-up by the funny mood that transpires from the photo. I hope you’ll find at least one face/attitude that makes you smile.

My favorite? I would say Hugo, the one with a hole in his short! “I might have holes in my shorts, my teeth might struggle being in line but I kick asses and I sure won’t miss any opportunities to smile at Life!” Haha :-)

And you?

p.s. for those (or the one ;-)) who have (has) followed the series, you will recognize Kamy (2nd standing from the left)…
