Photographer's Note
Debra Damo is the name of a 6th century Ethiopian Orthodox monastery which is on a small plateau (an amba) and accessible only by climbing a 15m sheer cliff. The day after we visited was the Feast of Saint Aregawi, so there were many more people there than usual. this gentleman was one of them. Not sure if he was a visitor or one of the monks that live there.

Hi Stephen,
Strong portrait of this man in white. Clothes create strong contrast while brown wall background fits well with the skin tone. Off centre framing works well.

Helo Steve,
It's a fine portrait, again very sharp and well exposed and with a suitable background. I would have expected a monk to pose for a fee and a visitor of doing it for free.
