Photographer's Note

an argentin priest, "le père Pédro", tried to fight aginst misery in Tana. He crated a village( near to 20 000 people if my memories are good). he built houses, schools, promoted craft industry, gave jobs, hope and dignity to many people. and every sunday, it's time to the mass in the gymnasium. But it is not an ordinary mass where many blanks are empty, where there is no many happy mood. it's liike a giant feast with hundreds of singing and dancing kids and adults. a few of sermon in malagasy and french ( vazahas ares welcomed). everything was full of happyness, love and hope. it was certainly one of the strongest time during my trip. to recommend to all of you who will go to mada one day. believers or not

Hi Amalia,
I very much like this slice of life that you captured. I am wondering whether a little more post processing would help - maybe playing with the lens distortion feature, a better crop to eliminate the haze at the top of the photo and maybe at the right edge - also a bit more sharpening.

what an impressive shot! This impressive crowded scen is very well taken, even if light created a bit overexposure on the top.

quelques soient les convictions de chacun, ta photo respire la vie, colorée, animée, joyeuse.
j'apprécie qu'à chaque fois que tu photographies des personnes, tu ne sembles jamais intruse.
l'espace en pente (gradins, pente naturelle ?) renforce la proximité entre les personnes et l'aspect théâtre où acteurs et spectateurs sont en communion.
